Marianne Guély is a Parisianne, globe-trotter, passionate, audacious, and always searching for new relations and materials that enable her to tell new stories through paper.
For the last 20 years, paper has remained her favorite medium; This challenging material is versatile, light, ephemeral, feminine, and poetic, just like fashion with which it often collaborates.
Like fabric, paper can be folded, wrinkled, cut, printed, sewn, perforated, sculpted... the metamorphoses and fantasies demanded by fashion are all delivered by paper.
This is why it accompanies fashion brands through every step of their communications. Paper is used by modelers for prototypes, but it is also tissue paper that delicately wraps a dress before it is slipped into a shopping bag and an invitation card that announces a runway show.
It is the ideal material for an invitation, a shopping bag, decor for a window, a runway, a cocktail party, but also for a digital animation.
Nothing beats a paper scenography to highlight and enhance a designers' collection.
